Privacy

Your API Keys Stay in Your Browser

Pro Mode is different, on purpose. Pro Mode works differently on purpose: the request goes to REPLAI, which builds the reply using your channel context and your plan's features and then calls the AI provider on your behalf. That is what removes the key management — and it means Pro Mode replies do pass through REPLAI.

Not in this path: REPLAI servers. In Free Mode the request never reaches them.

  • In Free Mode the request goes straight from your browser to the AI provider you selected.
  • Your provider API keys are stored locally in the browser. They are not stored on REPLAI servers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The extension itself is free to install, and Free Mode is free to use — you connect your own AI provider key and pay that provider for what you use. Pro Mode is the paid option, where REPLAI handles the AI for you.

Not for Free Mode. You install the extension, add an API key from an AI provider, and start generating replies. A REPLAI account is only needed for Pro Mode.

From the AI provider you prefer — Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Each of them issues keys from their own developer console, and you paste the key into the extension's API keys tab.

No. In Free Mode the key stays in your browser's extension storage and the request goes directly from your browser to the AI provider you chose. The key is not sent to REPLAI servers.

Pro Mode routes the request through REPLAI instead of your own provider key. REPLAI adds your channel context, your persona and your saved reply settings before generating, and the reply is counted against your REPLAI plan or your prepaid credits.

A REPLAI account with your YouTube channel connected — connecting is free and takes a Google sign-in — plus either an active plan or a prepaid credit pack. You then copy your REPLAI token into the extension.

Yes. The extension works on any YouTube video page you can open, not only on your own channel. In Pro Mode the reply is still written using your own settings and persona.
